Greene County Soccer Association Endowment in Memory of Norma Evans

Did you know GCSA has an endowed fund through the Greene County Community Foundation?

At GCSA, we believe in more than just soccer — we believe in building a community, creating opportunities for youth, and making sure that every child has access to the sport they love, no matter their background.

Since 2006, we’ve partnered with the Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF) to create and manage the "Greene County Soccer Association Endowment in memory of Norma Evans." This fund has supported our league year after year, providing scholarships, equipment, and resources for players in need. It’s a legacy that has touched countless lives, and we continue to be grateful for its impact.

What is an endowed fund?
An endowed fund is a permanent source of support that keeps on giving. When you donate to the Greene County Soccer Association Endowment in memory of Norma Evans, your gift is invested, and the principal remains intact — while the interest generated is used to fund programs, scholarships, and improvements. Your support will help us honor the memory, dedication, and hard work of our founding members, including Dr. Paul Daluga and John Evans, as well as every pivotal member and young athlete who has been part of GCSA since the beginning. Together, we will continue to provide opportunities for kids to play soccer, build friendships, and thrive in a community they can count on.
